Super Vision LPR is a software program aimed at automatically identifying the registration numbers of automobiles, in real time.

SUPER VISION LPR benefits from the most recent image processing technologies and advanced artificial intelligence techniques.
SUPER VISION LPR is able to:
- Monitoring of the parking lots with or without turnpikes;
- Supervision of the entrance / exit in / from a railed parking lot;
- Supervision of a taxing point on a speedway;
- Guard a customs point;
- Monitoring the entrance / exit in / from the courtyard, institution, building site, domain.

SOFTWARE
-System for recording and management of video information (DVR system);
-Windows XP Pro operating system and the SuperVision software modified for two cannels; all the local functions of the SuperVision system are available – please see the Super Vision manual.

DESCRIPTION OF THE MECHANISM FOR AUTO REGISTER NUMBER RECOGNITION:
• Selecting the frames of interest;
• Identification of the register number plate;
• Processing of the image with the register number plate;
• Segmenting the characters of the register number;
• Neuronal network for recognition of the individual characters;
• Statistic and syntactic algorithms for improving the results.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE DATA BASE:
The result of the image processing is displayed in real time and at the same time is stored in the data base. If the result of the recognition is not the correct one, the application offers the possibility for the registration number to be introduced by the user. In our application one can define several access profiles for the vehicles:
-unconditional access,
-access on the basis of affiliation to a preferential list,
-blocking the access based on appearing on a special list,
-access based on subscription,
-exit conditioned by payment for the parking period.


The application allows notification of the presence of a vehicle, if its registration number is on a special list:
-the list of stolen cars,
-the list of cars chased by the police.

The data base is structured as follows:

  • Events
  • Access Information
  • Information about suspicious vehicles

For each event the following information is stored:

  • Date and time of recording
  • The registration number recognized by the application
  • The registration number introduced by the user, in case of incorrect recognition of the register number plate
  • Camera that recorded the event

Access information is structured as follows:

  • Register number of the vehicle
  • Defined access type
  • Date when the defined access type was established
  • Date up to which the defined access type is valid
  • Access instructions for the respective vehicle
  • Separate control of suspicious cars is possible, by additionally stating the instruction and the institution who established it.

 

 


 

 

 

Defining the access type for the vehicles:

  • stating of the register number of the vehicle for which the access type is defined;
  • the time interval in which the access type is valid;
  • instructions to the us

Inter and trans station topologies:

  • it’s possible to design networks of stations and to use via Internet,
  • DVR client applications
Event retrieving:
  • the events detected can be visualized immediately after the car passed or subsequently
High level of scalability:
  • hardware and/or software additions and modifications

General features:
  • general settings for the recording program – the application also allows for DVR recording of the images;
  • setting the video parameters (luminosity, contrast, etc.) depending on the recording interval of the day / night;
  • displaying the images and exporting the movies in avi format;
